Pelican Landing Community
Pelican Landing is a 2,100-acre master-planned community in Bonita Springs with amenities rarely found outside of private clubs. As our guest, you have full access.

🏖️ Private Beach Club — An Exclusive Perk You Won’t Find Anywhere Else
Most Southwest Florida communities claim to be near the beach. Pelican Landing owns one. Our guests have exclusive access to a private 34-acre island beach club on Big Hickory Island in the Gulf of Mexico — no public crowds, no paid parking, no fighting for a spot.
Getting there is half the fun: board the private resident launch at Coconut Point Marina, cross Estero Bay in 12 minutes (dolphins and manatees are regular companions on the crossing), and step onto a mile of sugar-white sand that belongs entirely to Pelican Landing residents and their guests. The beach house offers pavilions, shaded seating, restrooms, showers. No other gated community in Southwest Florida offers anything like it.

⛳ Golf — The Nest at Pelican Landing
27 holes across three distinct 9-hole courses designed around natural Florida wetlands and preserve. Driving range, putting greens, practice bunkers, a well-stocked pro shop, and PGA-certified instruction. Please note: Pelican Landing Golf Club is a private course — play requires an invitation from a member.

🏊 Resort Pools
Sawgrass has its own heated and shaded lounge areas. Open year-round.

🎾 Tennis & Pickleball
18 Har-Tru clay tennis courts with USTA league play, organized clinics, and round-robins weekly. Dedicated pickleball courts with open play and organized matches. Equipment available through the Tennis Center.
⛵ Sailing & Kayaking
The Pelican Landing Sailing Club provides Sunfish sailboats and instruction on Estero Bay. The Canoe/Kayak Park offers direct bay access with stored equipment for residents and guests — a rare perk in a non-waterfront community.
💪 Fitness Center
Fully equipped fitness facility with cardio machines, free weights, resistance equipment, and group fitness classes. Open daily, no reservation required for individual use.
🎳 Bocce & More
Bocce courts, shuffleboard, and a butterfly garden are among the quieter pursuits. The Community Park hosts informal gatherings, and the Clubhouse calendar fills with seasonal events, mixers, and holiday parties.
🦅 Nature Preserve & Trails
Miles of walking and biking paths wind through protected Florida wetlands and upland preserve. Herons, ospreys, roseate spoonbills, and gopher tortoises are regular sightings. Nature is genuinely at your doorstep.
🔐 Gated & Secure
24/7 staffed gatehouse entry with roving security patrol. One assigned covered carport space with private storage locker, plus ample guest parking. The quiet and privacy here are exceptional.
